    Under the leadership of the Art Director, this full-time Graphic Designer will provide design services with a primary role of reproducing, maintaining and developing creative concepts to support strategic messaging. Core responsibilities include the hands-on development of projects for print, web, mobile, multimedia and other applications as well as assisting in monitoring and maintaining the University's graphic identity.

  • Job Description:

    Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience.

    *Exceptional organization skills with the proven ability to work on a variety of projects under tight deadlines with priorities that can change with limited notice.
    *Written and verbal communication skills with a strong understanding of the marketing and advertising process.
    *Self-starter, highly motivated and detailed oriented individual who can maintain a positive attitude as a member of the UMC team.
    *Experience working within a content management system.
    *Experience in a fast-paced high volume environment.

    Generate quality graphic design deliverables aimed at expanding the visibility of the university while ensuring alignment with the Integrated Marketing Communications plan and institutional brand platform while meeting deadlines. Communicate and collaborate with UMC team to discuss projects and possible approaches as well as project specifications. Help to develop and continually update the UMC brand portal and tools therein by working in consultation with the Art Director and Creative Director to ensure resources meet the demands of campus. Review, redirect, or fulfill logo requests, student organization requests, and internal project requests, by providing resources and/or needed files as determined.
