Senior Multimedia Designer
The University of Indianapolis seeks applications for a Senior Multimedia Designer, which is a full time, exempt staff position. The Senior Multimedia Designer (within the Office of University Communications and Marketing) serves as an integral member of the Integrated Marketing and Communications (IMC) team to support the development and delivery of high quality, effective marketing and communications materials related to institutional identity, in-house client support, and brand development across multiple platforms.
The Senior Multimedia Designer creates and delivers high-quality marketing and communications promotional materials related to institutional identity, in-house client support, and brand development in support of university brand, recruitment, advancement and priorities including concepts, original layouts and designs for a variety of traditional print, digital and multimedia platforms to enhance the institution’s visual image and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications: In order to be considered, applicants must have experience in applying technical skills and creative talents towards a wide range of project, creating original layouts and designs for a variety of platforms to include traditional print media, web, and multimedia, quoting and managing print jobs, as well as working with printers, and working with Microsoft Office.
- Candidates must also have Macintosh knowledge and good working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
- Organizational skills and an attention to detail are essential in this role.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3-4 years of relevant experience is preferred.
